Seems ingenious

I don't know whether this was totally random, or really layered. I'd like to believe it's a combination of the two. I've really come to love this style. So many tangents, most of which come together in the end. Had a lotta funny moments too. Zombie Dad was among my favorite - the complete impracticality of the concept and the purposely terrible voice acting. I love the way it ended. The music went perfectly with the whales rising from the ocean to claim the earth, lol. You've been steadily improving since B&W DT #1, so I'll be sure to keep an eye on everything you release (of this sort) ;)

This should have a better score, really.

If this isn't in the 4.0 range by tonight at midnight, I'll come back and vote 5 again. Superior animation. Great fbf stuff. The sound was very befitting and the choice of music was good (Pixies :)) Looking forward to the series.

Heh, spiffy

Well would you look at that, a submission by Edd. A definite shame that Anitude is not up to publicize it on. It should be around again in a week or two though :)
Interesting movie, I haven't really seen the past ones, so I'm oblivious to the storyline of this animation. I still enjoyed it though, and I'll keep a watch out for more of your stuff in the future. Though hopefully Anitude will return in time for your next submission. See y'around.

A piece of advice...

Don't create a new submission, just upload a new file for the already existing submission. If your incorrect file wins a portal award, that will be very unfair for other animators, today.
Good movie, though. An interesting style, both in visuals and in your methods of animating in Flash. This series could get pretty good.

Music credit is incorrect

The music credit should go to Rob Dougan. It may come as a surprise that not everything with an electronic element was made by The Crystal Method or Fatboy Slim, but I'm afraid that's true -_-.
The animation is alright. The whole idea is kind of overdone. People should probably just let the Matrix be, and come up with something original. You're competent as an animator tho, so keep going. Progress, and create your own style.

Good music

I actually bought the self-titled album - Gorillaz - earlier this week, and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. In addition to the known hits, there are a bunch of great tunes like Slow Country and Man Research that I've never had the benefit of hearing.
Besides that, the animation was kind of.. lacking. There wasn't actually very much animation :$ Just traced, inanimate pictures. That's just something you could work on. Keep it up though.

haha, that's great

I used to have Super Ghouls and Ghosts when I was a wee lad. It took up a significant part of my childhood that I'll certainly never get back. Ya had to play the thing through at least twice before you could actually beat it. What was that about? -_- Anyways, good Flash. Well animated and drawn. Good sound. While it wasn't laugh out loud funny, it had a definite charm. Looking forward to seeing more.

Needle responds:

It's a series tradition that you have to go through the game twice in order to beat it. It's the same deal with Ghosts n' Goblins, I'm afraid! The problem is, no one can get through it once, let alone twice. Impossible! Impossible! Impossible! :D

Very creative

While it almost made me cry when I heard the same text-to-voice program the clocks often use, I was overall quite impressed by this movie. The style of the ship and a good few other things was really creative. Pretty damn neat visuals all the way through. Could've had a slightly more captivating story, but perhaps I'm being picky. Overall a very good animation. I'd like to see more from you.

This is actually a great series, really

I'm not too gung-ho about gratuitous violence, but all 5 installments of the series have been great, regardless. The development of your skills is very apparent from DR1 to DR5. I'm kinda looking forward to seeing how the series will wrap up. I hope you don't kill off the main character or anything.
So yeah, great graphics, good animation, good use of sound. If there's one thing, it's that I laugh every time I hear "B.M. Virus", since B.M. usually stands for bowel movement.

SickDeathFiend responds:

lol! bowel movement. It stands for Blue Mask Virus, which is just a name the blue mask gave it.You find out later in part 6 that its not really a 'virus' heh.

Say hello to my leetle friend

lol, I like that this one was considerably longer than the majority of the other installments in the series. It was also good to see a lot of past characters included in one. The larger of the two main characters - in this animation, the coach - had his work cut out for him as the voice of reason, in this one. What's his name, by the way?
Animation and sound, superb as always. Looking forward to the next. As always, you get my 5.

jato responds:

his name is argus. thanks for the good review!!

Yeah, we're all gonna get a lot of things done tomorrow.
