I'd say it's about 4 or 5 inches tall with the base. Can't recall what it's made out of, but it might be in the thread where they were awarded.

That could be kinda neat, but I think it would make it look more like plastic, or some kind of toy. The metal look makes it more clearly legit - I'm happy with their choice :)
