I've gotta respect you

...even though FEAR stole my daily feature, heh heh. You deserved it anyways. This is a great movie as well. Really effective atmosphere, in parts. The shading is excellent, and you seem to have a good command and judgement of both frame by frame and tweening. Is this thing gonna be a series or is this a one time affair?

I hate summaries. See below

Well, while it wasn't as engaging as the previous two installments, you still kept a high level of quality and kept true to the comic book style and feel of the series and character. The voice acting is above average, even if not flawless. The story didn't seem to be developed as much in this one, but it was still carried a little and I do look forward to your future work.

Deliciously bizarre, again

I'm glad you made a sequel, even if it didn't have the same feel as the first time. Went for a much creepier approach this time. Still a few laughs though, and some intreresting, unexpected twists.

Kind of dishonest...

The idea (and title) for this was taken from an old game magazine, perhaps a Smart Bomb in an old edition of PSM if my memory serves me well. The resemblence is too impeccable to be a coincidence. Still, I guess you did an alright job of putting it together.

Haha, good stuff

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas was a great movie, and this was another very good addition to the series. You've definitely stepped up the graphics on this one. Plenty of nice looking frame by frame work. It's good to see an enitre head moving when someone talks rather than just their mouth. Fairly original storyline, and the characters work well and everything. Looking forward to the continuation of this series and your 'big plans' for it, as you've mentioned.

I thank you for the thoughtful review. I definately agree it looks better when the entire head is animated rather than just the mouth. To me, that's cheating!

As for the big plans... let's just say after episode 5 (which is already written!) I will need to recruit some programmers for episode 6...

MUSIC CREDIT

Don't forget to credit The Chemical Brothers not only in the animation itself (which I don't think you did) but also in the submission form. Their music was the redeeming part of this animation.

Sherby sherby sherby

The frame by frame work was ace. Very clean and fluid, as always. I don't see you as much on synjnet anymore, so it's great to see some of your work coming into the portal. Any progress on that Satan animation? :D

Sherbalex responds:

Shit man that Satan bit is dead as disco.

I thought it might never come

Wow, it seems like with every new installment, you reach a new tier of Flash mastery. This perfectly exemplifies Flash' capabilities. Sound, graphics, animation, the whole package. The story is getting developed really well at this point. I'm glad it has gone on for as many episodes as it has. My only quip is that it seems like some loops (walking) are getting used again and again. Other than that, a pretty well perfect Flash.

More great pixel stuff

Well, you said you guys used to work in that old 16 Color Program all the time, so I suppose this is some of the work that came out of it. Very well done, especially the animation on the man's face as he grew different animal features. Must have been as tedious making this back then as it was to import it frame by frame into Flash, heh. Keep it up :)

Dustball responds:

Thanks. (wow, you see EVERY submission don't you?) Yes, with primitive drawing tools (and no layers) it was very tedious pulling off some of the visual that you see. And then yes, getting every last frame into Flash!

Good work, but short

Again, I catch your submission under judgement. Some sort of instinct I've got, I guess. As I said in the summary, you've done a good job of what was surely a tedious task. Although, it was rather short and didn't have much content, so I can't give it a fantastic score. Keep it up. If I find some free time this week, perhaps I'll check out your site.

Yeah, we're all gonna get a lot of things done tomorrow.
